​​Add/Drop and Withdrawal Questions

Can I change my schedule?
Information about Add /Drop and Withdrawal deadlines can be found on the Registrar’s site:,%20Add%20and%20Withdrawal%20Deadlines.aspx.  

If a class is full, am I still able to get into it somehow?
Keep in mind that students do shuffle their schedules around during Add/Drop.  If a course is full, there may be an opening later on in the Add/Drop period.  If a seat doesn't open up, be mindful that professors are not required to accommodate requests to allow extra students.  You can reach out to ask! Stop by the AAC during Add / Drop to talk with an advisor.

Can you help me add or drop my class?
Once you have permission from an Advisor to add or drop a class, simply go to InfoBear and add or drop the approved course. 

If I am not doing well in a class, should I withdraw?
Only you can make that decision and there are many factors to consider - how poorly you believe you are doing, the possibility of bringing your grade up, the timing within the semester, etc. If Withdrawing causes a significant change in the number of credits you are taking, financial aid, and housing may factor in to your decision as well. Bottom line? Set up a meeting with your Advisor to discuss your situation!
