Applications and Guidelines
If you have trouble opening the PDFs:
on a PC (please use Internet Explorer) right click the link ("Click Here") and choose “save target as”
to download the .pdf to your desktop

on a MAC (please use Safari) hold down the Ctrl-key while you click the link ("Click Here") and choose
“save target as” to download the .pdf to your desktop
 

Next, through your Start Menu, open the Adobe software program and then in the "File" drop-down menu, 
choose "Open" to browse to find your saved file.

Applications ask you to indicate that you have completed IRB Training, and to submit the training certificate.  Training materials include short (approximately 10 minute) videos, Adobe Captivate
presentations (PowerPoint with interactive audio and visual content), and CITI training links.  They 
are intended to answer frequently asked questions and clarify each section of the applications.

The training is  available now and is highly encouraged but will not be enforced until May 2017.
Please plan to complete the training and get into the habit of e-submitting the certificate with 
every application.

To complete IRB training:
1.  Log into BlackBoard
2.  Come back to this page and click this link to enroll yourself: 
3.  Click OK
4.  The IRB site will appear on your "My Courses" list.  You will be enrolled as a Student
5.  When you confirm that you have completed each module, the next module will appear.
6.  When you have completed all modules, the certificate link will appear.  Type in your name and date and
save the certificate for submission with your new IRB applications.
