Connect Card

 General Information

The Connect Card is the official Bridgewater State University identification card. The Connect Card is a multi-purpose card that can be used for library privileges, building access, as a meal ticket, and as a debit card. As a debit card, funds may be used at all dining areas, vending machines, laundry machines, public copiers, The Bookstore, Dunkin Donuts (on campus), Starbucks (on campus), purchasing stamps at BSU mailroom, purchase gym membership and off-campus with participating merchants.

How to obtain a Connect Card


Students, faculty, staff and other campus community members are eligible to obtain Connect Cards. Students must be registered for classes in order to obtain a card. You must provide a photo ID (such as a driver's license) and there is a contract that students, faculty, and staff must sign in order to obtain a Connect Card.
Connect Card Etiquette
  • Do not give your card to anyone.
  • Do not leave your card anywhere as collateral.
  • Do not loan your card to a friend to use your Flex Dollars or door access.
  • If you lose your card, report it immediately to the Parking Services and Connect Card office or BSU Police.
  • DO NOT PUNCH A HOLE IN YOUR CARD. Please visit the office and we can punch a hole for you with the slot punch.

What to do if your Connect Card is lost or stolen


If your Connect Card is lost or stolen please report it immediately to the Parking Services & Connect Card Office at (508) 531-2897 or after hours to the BSU Police Department at (508) 531-1212. Please use the Online Card Office, to freeze your account when the Parking Services and Connect Card office is closed. You will be held responsible for any use of your card until you report it stolen. Temporary Connect Cards are available for resident students at your resident hall for temporary building access. 

There is a $25.00 fee for replacement Connect Cards. If your card is stolen you must file a police report prior to coming into the Parking Services and Connect Card office and provide our office with a copy to avoid paying the $25.00 fee.
