Guest and Visitor Parking

For Student and their Guests:
Guests are always welcome on campus. During the day, guests are allowed to park in the Moakley and West Lots. A parking permit for the day may be obtained by the Parking Services and Connect Card Office.   Parking for overnight guests is located at the Swenson Lot.   Parking permits are not required for guests parking in the Swenson Lot from 5pm - 7am.  Guests must move their vehicles out of the Swenson Lot by 7 am to allow commuter student parking.  On the weekends, the parking ban is lifted from Friday 4:00 pm thru Sunday 6:00 pm.

For Faculty and Staff and Their Guests/Visitors:
Bridgewater State University Guest/Visitor Parking Pass Policy
Policy:
Guests and visitors are required to have a parking permit when parking a vehicle in one of the designated Bridgewater State University visitor parking areas.  Parking passes are not required from Friday afternoons at 4:00 pm through Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm.  Guest/visitor one day parking passes are available online or at the Parking Services and Connect Card Office during business hours and at the lot monitor booths when attended by a lot monitor.  Guests/visitors needing a parking pass for multiple days must stop by or contact the Parking Services and Connect Card Office during office hours.
Process:
There are two types of guest and visitor parking passes.
Online Guest Parking Pass (Internet Explorer browser works best)
Online guest parking pass will assist in providing guests and visitors with a parking pass prior to arriving on campus. Guests and visitors, such as departmental invited guests, non-BSU students visiting Testing Services or conferee attendants may apply for the pass, print and place the pass visibly on their vehicle’s dashboard when parked in one of the four visitor lots.  Guests and visitors will be given a link, instructions on how to apply for the permit and a specific parking lot to use via email provided by the inviting department or conference host.  The West Lot is the designated parking lot for Non-BSU students visiting Testing Services.
Temporary Hangtags
Guests and visitors may obtain a handwritten temporary hangtag from the Parking Services and Connect Card Office during business hours and at the lot monitor booths when a lot monitor is on duty.  After 5:00 pm passes may be obtained from the BSU police dispatcher.
