Living Learning Communities
Living Learning Communities (LLCs) at Bridgewater State University are designed to give students with a particular academic focus or similar interests the opportunity to live together in a residence hall community. Students that signup to live in an LLC benefit from targeted programming and access to resources that will help them to become more successful during their time at the university.
LLCs give students the opportunity to connect their academic goals with their co-curricular interests. Each LLC partners with faculty from the university to create a true learning environment conveniently located in a residence hall community. Students can choose to live in one of seven LLCs. Both first year and upper-class students are able to join the Bartlett College of Science & Math, Community Engagement, Lavender, Music Majors & Minors, or the Sustainability LLCs. Each of these LLCs are housed in Weygand Hall, with the exception of the Bartlett College of Science & Math LLC which is housed in Pope Hall. First year students who have been accepted into the Honors Program can also choose to live in the First Year Honors LLC, which is located in Scott Hall, and upper-class honors student can join the Upper-Level Honors LLC in Weygand Hall.
