Throughout the semester, the Office of Study Abroad strives to provide programming for students in all stages of study abroad: from first interest through programming for students back at BSU after studying abroad. Stay tuned for updates to our programming schedule for Fall 2016:
Tuesday, September 6: Study Abroad Info Table. Stop by our first info table of the year, 10:00am-11:30am in the RCC Foyer
Tuesday, September 13: Study Abroad Fair! Come by the RCC Ballroom anytime 12:00pm-2:00pm to learn about all our study abroad options and meet students and representatives from universities from around the world! Meet with representatives from the Boston Passport Agency and receive all info and instructions on applying for your passport!
Wednesday, September 14: Study Abroad Info Table, 10:00am-11:30am in the RCC Foyer
TBA: Financing Study Abroad. Maxwell Library, Room 330, 12:00-1:00pm. Open to all students.
Tuesday, September 20: Irish Cultural Day. Study Abroad will host an info table, focusing on all study abroad programs available in Ireland. Heritage Room, Maxwell Library 3:00-8:00pm
Thursday, September 22: Campus Resource Fair, 11:00am-1:00pm. Stop by the Study Abroad table at the fair and learn about all study abroad options, scholarship resources, and more!
Tuesday, September 27: Speed Traveling Event. RCC 201, 11:00am- 12:00pm. Interested in studying abroad but not sure where to go, or would like more info on specific countries? Our Speed Traveling event is the place for you to meet and talk with current international students and returned study abroad students about their home countries, schools, and academic experiences abroad.
Friday, September 30: Application Deadline - for all winter travel courses, spring semesters study abroad programs, and spring international student teaching! Make sure all application materials are received by emailing email@example.com!
Friday, October 7: Travel Assistance Award Application Deadline!
November 14-18: International Education Week!
Wednesday, December 7:
Pre-Departure Orientation. RCC Ballroom, 2:00-4:00pm. Required for all
students studying abroad for the summer or fall semester.
Friday, December 9: Application Deadline - for all spring break travel courses! Make sure all application materials are received by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org!
