Study Abroad



​​​Throughout the semester, the Office of Study Abroad strives to provide programming for students in all stages of study abroad: from first interest through programming for students back at BSU after studying abroad. Here is our programming schedule for Spring 2016:


January, 2016


Thursday, January 21: Welcome Week Engagement Fair. Stop by the Study Abroad table 11:00am-2:00pm in the RCC Ballroom!

Wednesday, January 27: Study Abroad Fair! Come by the RCC Ballroom anytime 12:00pm-2:00pm to learn about all our study abroad options and meet students and representatives from universities from around the world! Meet with representatives from the Boston Passport Agency and receive all info and instructions on applying for your passport!

February, 2016


Wednesday, February 3Lunch & Learn: Financing Study Abroad. Maxwell Library, Room 330, 12:00-1:00pm. Open to all students.

Wednesday, February 17Info Tables: BSU Study Abroad & Semester at Sea. RCC Foyer, 2:00-4:00pm.

Saturday, February 20: New England Returnee Conference,​ Emmanuel College 9:00am-4:00pm. Contact the Office of Study Abroad if interested in attending - funding and transportation is available!

Friday, February 26: Application Deadline - for all summer, fall semester, and academic year study abroad programs! Make sure all application materials are received by OSA!


March, 2016

Friday, March 4Travel Assistance Award Application Deadline!

Tuesday, March 15: Lunch & Learn: Internationalize Your BSU Degree. Maxwell Library, Room 33012:00-1:00pm. Open to all students.


April, 2016

Tuesday, April 5Info Table: Center for International Studies (CIS). RCC Foyer, 11:00am - 2:00pm.

Wednesday, April 13Info Table: Academic Programs Abroad (API). RCC Foyer, 11:00am - 1:00pm.

Thursday, April 21
:  Pre-Departure Orientation. RCC Ballroom, 2:00-4:00pm. Required for all students studying abroad for the summer or fall semester.

Put Study Abroad to Work for You. Maxwell Library, Room 33012:00-1:00pm​. Open to all students.
