Evening Course Charges:
The College of Continuing Studies offers undergraduate courses at night (after 4:00 PM), on the weekends, and online during the fall and spring terms. The College of Continuing Studies also provides all undergraduate courses during the winter intersession and summer.
The courses offered by the College of Continuing Studies are not state supported and therefore are not included in full-time undergraduate tuition and fees. The one standard exception to this policy is that most―but not all―online courses are currently included in full-time tuition and fees. When a student paying full-time tuition and fees chooses to take a Continuing Studies course they will be charged the current Continuing Studies tuition and fees for that course.
To determine whether or not a course will incur additional charges above full-time tuition and fees, you can consult the following chart as it relates to the course attributes listed on InfoBear:
- Attribute: Billing Policy
- Day Rate Included in full-time tuition and fees
- Day Rate, WEB Included in full-time tuition and fees
- Evening Not included in full-time tuition and fees; Continuing Studies charges apply
- WEB Eve Not included in full-time tuition and fees; Continuing Studies charges apply
Waivers for Academic Progress: Full-time undergraduate students may have the Continuing Studies tuition a fees waived for certain courses when that course is required for academic progress in their major concentration and the only section offered during that term (fall or spring) is being offered through the College of Continuing Studies. In most instances, those courses will be identified prior to the start of the term and student accounts will be adjusted automatically. If you believe that the Continuing Studies tuition and fees for a course meeting the aforementioned criteria should be waived but have not been, you can email email@example.com. Include your Banner ID, Course Number & Section, and your major.
