 Security Education and Awareness

Description:

Code of Massachusetts Regulations (201 CMR 17.00) "Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth" requires ongoing employee training. In addition to the required security training, a member of the BSU Security Team will always be available to meet and talk to your department about current and emerging threats.​

How to Request this Service:

You already have access to the Security Awareness Training Portal! Log in to the portal by navigating to https://bridgew.securingthehuman.org​. If you are unable to access the portal, please send an email to >Support Services.

If you and your department want to meet with a member from the BSU Security Team, please send an email to Support Services​ to request a meeting to discuss current and emerging threats, and what you can do to protect yourself and the University. 

Service Expectations:

The service will help you and your department identify recent and emerging threats to you and the University. After threats are identified, these videos will offer practical advice for safeguarding University data.

How does this service work?
All faculty and staff have access to the Security Training Portal. After you log in you will be able to view the security training videos.

What if I want my department to do more training?
Contact Support Services​ and request additional training for you and your department.
