Description:

Vulnerability scanning looks for vulnerable versions of software installed on systems. This service will start a process that scans for vulnerabilities and delivers a detailed report consisting of all known vulnerabilities on a system, and a prioritized list of recommended steps for remediation.

​A vulnerability scan is an automated process that looks for vulnerable versions of software in a computer system. After the scan is complete, you can expect a report with a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and recommended steps towards remediation.
