Want to use the teaching station computer?
Press BSU icon on the control
panel. Allow time for projector to warm up. Press the desired screen at top of
control panel to turn on projector and display sources. To shut down, press
System Off and press again to confirm.
The computer is located
below. Manually turn the computer on/off with the power button. Log in using
your BSU credentials. Press PC button on the control panel to project the
computer image. If no image appears on the screen, press and hold the
(windows) key while pressing the P key. Select
Duplicate when prompted, the computer image will appear.
Video Sources: To
choose or switch source, select desired source from top of control panel.

mute the audio, to unmute, press the button again.

Want to connect your laptop to the projection system?
Cables are located on top of
the teaching station. Cables are located on top of
the teaching station. Computer, and audio cables are available. Press
laptop or HDMI button on the control panel, depending on cable used. If no
image appears on the screen, press and hold the
(windows) key while pressing the P key. Select Duplicate when prompted, the computer
image will appear.
Want to use the document camera and share to the
The document camera is
located on the top of the teaching station. Press the document camera button on
the control panel, the document camera will turn on. To raise or lower the
camera, use the handle on the camera’s stand. Focus and zoom controls are
located on the top of the document camera. The document camera can display
notes, articles, and objects.
Want to play a DVD/Blu-ray to the class?
DVD/Blu-ray player is located
below. Manually turn DVD/Blu-ray player
on. Press DVD/Blu-ray button on control panel.
There are additional controls for DVD/Blu-ray next to the control panel. When playing from disc menu, press Enter
instead of Play.
Optional DVD/Blu-ray playback:
Place DVD in computer DVD drive and software should automatically open. If software
or disc does not open, double click DVD Player on computer desktop. Press PC
button on the control panel.
auxiliary audio cable is located in the cable cubby. This is for use with
laptops or portable media devices. This audio is always live, even when the
displays are off.
Manually turn on the desktop
computer and log in with BSU credentials. Click on the Smart notebook 15 icon
on the computer desktop. NOTE: Smart Board only works with the desktop computer
in the room. Turn on the projector as per the instructions posted on the
teaching station. Start the Smart Board software by choosing the icon on the
desktop computer. The Smart Board is ready to
use. Do not use regular white board, flip chart, or
permanent markers on the Smart Board. Please do not place anything on the white magnetic
strip above the pen tray.
