to use the teaching station computer?
control panel is located on the top of the podium. Press Display 1 (audience
right) or Display 2 (audience left) to start system. Allow time for
projector(s) to warm up. Press display desired and press source for display. You
can use simultaneous or different images for the two displays.
computer is located below. Manually turn the computer on/off with the power
button. Log in using BSU credentials. Select display desired then press PC
button on the control panel to project the computer image. If no image appears
on the screen, press and hold the
(windows) key while pressing the P key. Select
Duplicate when prompted, the computer image will appear.
A/V Mute: Press this button to
change display to black screen. The button will flash for a short time when
selected. Press the button again to restore the image.
to connect your laptop to the projection system?
are located on top of the podium. Computer and audio cables are
available. Select desired display then press podium button. Select laptop, HDMI,
or VGA audio only button on the control panel, depending on cable used. If no
image appears on the screen, press and hold the (windows) key while pressing the P key. Select Duplicate when prompted, the computer
image will appear.
to use the document camera and share to the projection system?
document camera is located on the top of the podium. Manually turn the document
camera on. Select desired display then press the document camera button on the
control panel. To raise or lower the lens, use the handle on the camera stand.
Focus and zoom controls are located on the top of the document camera. The
document camera can display notes, articles, and objects.
to play a DVD to the class?
player is located below. Manually turn
DVD player on. Select desired display. Press the DVD button on control panel. There
are additional controls for DVD on the control panel.
DVD playback: Place DVD in computer DVD drive and software should automatically
open. If software or DVD does not open, double click DVD Player on computer
desktop. Press display desired then press PC button on control panel.
audio control button to display volume controls for computer or DVD audio and
microphone(s). Press auxiliary microphone up/down arrows for volume. Press podium
microphone up/down arrows for microphone on podium. Press source up/down arrows
for computer, DVD, or device volume. Devices may be connected to the headphone
jack on computer VGA cable on the top of the teaching station. Press podium
then VGA audio only button.
microphone on the podium is muted when system turns on. Press audio control or
mics button then press mute button on podium microphone up/down control.
shut down press system off then press power down.
