​Mail Support for Mobile Devices

You can send and receive email from your Bridgewater State University email account using your mobile device. Using your mobile device to send and receive email can generate a large amount of traffic. As a result, we recommend you review your cellular plan prior to configuring your device to ensure you don't incur any additional data related costs. Listed below is information that your provider technician may need to assist you in setting up your mobile device: 
 

Office 365 Email

     Steps for Apple iOS Devices to Configure Email with Office 365

1.     
Tap “Settings
      2.     TapMail, Contacts, Calendars” under Settings and tap “Add Account…” under Accounts.
      3.     TapExchange” under Add Account.
      4.     In the Exchange dialog box:
a.    Enter your e-mail address (e.g. username@student.bridgew.edu or username@bridgew.edu for employees) in the “Email” field.
b.    Enter your password in the “Password” field.
      5.     Tap “Next” in the upper right corner.
      6.     Verify outlook.office365.com was filled in automatically under the “Server” field, then tap “Next” in the upper right corner of the Exchange dialog box.
      7.     In the Exchange Account dialog box, tap “Save” in the upper right corner.
      8.     Done.
Steps for Android Devices to Configure Email with Office 365 
​1.     Select “Settings
2.     Select “Accounts & Sync” in the Settings dialog box.
3.     Select “Add Account” in the Accounts & Sync settings dialog box.
4.     Select “Exchange ActiveSync”.
5.     In the Add an Exchange account dialog box:
a.      Enter your e-mail address (e.g. username@student.bridgew.edu or username@bridgew.edu for employees) in the “E-mail Address:” field.
b.      Enter your password in the “Password” field.
6.     Select “Manual setup
7.     In the “Exchange Server Settings” dialog box:
a.      Under Domain\user name field, enter the information in this format student.bridgew.edu\username@student.bridgew.edu 
b.      Enter your password.
c.      Enter outlook.office365.com in the “Exchange Server” field.
d.      Select Next
8.     In the “Account options” dialog box, select Next.
9.     Done.
